Barbara Sumner

Barbara Sumner is a multi-award-winning Oscar short-listed documentary filmmaker and former magazine features writer, turned author. Her memoir, Tree of Strangers, was published by Massey University Press in 2020. She is currently working on The Mystifications, a novel of astral travel and the arrival of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn into Havelock North in 1916.
